Authentic Dinosaur Bone Fossil d20 - over 66 million years in the making!
We are thrilled to announce our limited run of Triceratops Fossil Dice! Each d20 is made from our specially formulated sharp-edged resin, containing a REAL FOSSILIZED DINOSAUR BONE inside!
These Triceratops prorsus fossils were found in the Hell Creek formation near Baker, Montana and are approximately 66-67 million years old, dating all the way back to the Late Cretaceous Period and the extinction of the dinosaurs! Triceratops is a worldwide favorite dinosaur, the best known of all of the ceratopsians, instantly recognizable by the three huge horns on its head. These herbivorous giants grew 26-30 feet long and weighed up to 10 tons! They lived near (and were probably eaten by) Tyrannosaurus rex.
Hand-collected in the badlands of Montana by Sorensen’s founder, Mike, and painstakingly handcrafted, tested, and perfected by our design team, these dice are available now and ready to ship out next-day to their new homes with you! This project has been a labor of love for us at Sorensen’s, and has been in the works for over a year to make this happen.
Additionally, Sorensen’s is proud to announce its partnership with Paleo Discover LLC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to paleontological research, education, and preservation. A generous portion of all proceeds will be donated to Paleo Discover LLC to further their mission of bringing important dinosaur specimens to museums around the world.
These fossils were legally and ethically collected, and have been authenticated by Paleo Discover LLC.
Each d20 comes with a protective case, a numbered Certificate of Authenticity (signed by Field Paleontologist Rob Sula, the founder of Paleo Discover LLC), PLUS A BONUS dinosaur bone fossil - so you can actually hold and touch a real fossilized dinosaur bone!
Please note: Each d20 is hand-cast. Minor variations in fossil placement and appearance are inherent to the material and confirm the uniqueness and authenticity of the specimen.
